A Dutchman

First of all I want to say ‘Thank You‘ for having written such insightfull and brain-teasing (pun intended;-) books and articles on mind, soul, body & their possible interactions!

I’ve tried to contradict TN, most recently during a holiday in France this summer, but alas, my arguments thus far didn’t hold so I’m afraid I will remain, at least for the time being, an adherent of sorts…

Fortunately, a former teacher of mine (and now colleague, the two of us being on the brink of retirement together), Jan Bransen of Nijmegen University, already mentioned you with lots of approval some thirty years ago, so I’m not the only Dutchman who came under your spell;-).

Secondly, I feel urged to express my fierce indignation over the CA some people tried to play on you! Leaving a person at the mercy (sic) of social media that will never be cleansed nor wiped away should, in my opinion, be most severely punished – to begin with, it has nothing to do whatsoever with your acumen and esprit de finesse as a philosopher.
