A Letter to my Cancellers

This is a letter from Robert Kuhn, creator of Closer to the Truth, in which he shows no hesitation about the proposed series. Would that the American philosophy profession could be similarly disposed! Their loss.
As I think I mentioned briefly several months ago, I would like to produce a comprehensive CTT video series dedicated entirely to your intellectual history and sui generis ways of thinking. CTT has conducted a series of these comprehensive, in-depth, multi-part retrospectives with leading figures, each with 5 to 30 videos of varying lengths (10-40 minutes): Roger Penrose, Noam Chomsky, Richard Swinburne, Peter van Inwagen (see “Chat” sections at the bottom of their CTT Homepages); we recently completed retrospectives with Paul Davies (30 videos) and Martin Rees (20 videos), both in post-production.
You and I would decide topics from two perspectives: your personal intellectual history and selected topics from your marvelous collection of short essays, both aligning with CTT topic series (see CTT Topic Guide, scroll very long page).
I just published a little essay on why I’ve moved, ever so slightly, toward physicalism/materialism: “A Material Revelation?” in Inference.

My prediction FWIW: your cancellers would be cancelled themselves. It will take time but the recent MIT Sabatini’s case supports the hypothesis.

They must be creeping around with their tail between their legs, but no one has the courage to step forward. Yes, the Sabatini case and also Galloway in Canada. True scandals.
